CHILLPLAYS CHILLGEARS

LEVEL 1/8
POWER THE TARGET GEAR

How to play ChillGears — build a gear train that reaches the target

ChillGears is a physics gear puzzle: the orange SOURCE gear spins under power, and you drag gears from the tray to build a train that turns the pink TARGET. The catch is balance — a gear only holds when it rests nearly straight on top of another; anything off-centre slips and falls.

Why does my gear keep falling off?

The stick rule: a gear holds only when it rests on top of a mounted gear within about 40° of straight up on either side. The dashed ring previews the mesh — green holds, red slips. Fallen gears return to the tray.

What is a jam and how do I fix it?

If two paths drive one gear in conflicting directions, the whole machine locks red. Remove a gear from one of the paths to free it.

What do the direction arrows mean?

Some targets must spin in a required direction, shown by a gold arrow. Every mesh flips the spin, so count your meshes on the way to the target.

How many levels are there — and does it work on phones?

Four wings of eight mechanisms each, every wing with a new twist. It plays free in the browser and works on phones — drag with a finger just like a mouse.

Can I play ChillGears offline?

Yes — fully. After your first visit the whole game is stored on your device and plays with no connection at all, airplane mode included. You can even install it from your browser menu and play it like an app. Free, no account, nothing locked behind a signal.
