How to play Pattern Nine — a 3×3 matrix logic puzzle
Pattern Nine shows nine tiles with one missing; the other eight follow hidden rules across rows and columns. Read the pattern in shape, color, count, fill and size, then pick the option that completes the grid — the same matrix reasoning used in classic IQ tests.
What kinds of rules should I look for?
Each attribute can be fixed per row or per column, grow across the row, or cycle so that every row and column shows all three values — check the diagonals on cycling rules. Late puzzles add a spark that appears on the third tile exactly when one of the first two has it.
How many puzzles are in a round?
Five per round, getting much harder as you go. A wrong pick costs one of your three lives; you can answer with keys 1–8 or by tapping an option.
Is Pattern Nine like an IQ test?
It uses the same matrix-reasoning format many cognitive tests use, tuned for a chill daily workout rather than a score — no timer, just you and the grid.
