Playground Physics

Gears, gravity and satisfying clicks — the physics playground

The playground is half puzzle, half toy box, all running on real simulated physics. CHILL CIRCUS fires a human cannonball through hoops onto swings, trampolines and (ideally not) Leo. CHILLGEARS asks you to build a spinning gear train where gears only hold resting on top of one another. MARBLE MACHINE is a kinetic sculpture with the tracks missing — one marble has to spin the gears, tip the pin-blocks and ring the bell. And when you'd rather make than solve, CHILL PAINT is a spin-art wheel and CHILL POTTERY a potter's wheel, both happy to let you just play.

Everything here is about watching cause and effect: set it up, let it go, see what the simulation does with your plan. Failure is free and usually funny.

Are these puzzles or toys?

Three puzzles, two toys. CHILL CIRCUS, CHILLGEARS and MARBLE MACHINE have levels with win conditions — every one verified landable or solvable before release. CHILL PAINT and CHILL POTTERY are sandboxes: no scores, no failure, just rings of paint and wobbly vases you can share as spinning GIFs.

Do I need fast reflexes?

No. The physics games are aim-and-release, not twitch: you set the angle, power or gear layout at your own pace, then watch the simulation run. The thinking happens before the launch.

Do the physics games have daily challenges?

CHILL CIRCUS and CHILLGEARS both deal a shared daily round on the daily challenges page — the same act and the same gear puzzle for every player, resetting at midnight UTC.

How many levels are there?

CHILLGEARS has 40 levels across five wings, MARBLE MACHINE has 30 verified machines, and CHILL CIRCUS runs a big top of acts with an unlimited safety net — retry any act as often as you like.

Can I play offline?

Yes — after your first visit every game, gear and elephant is stored on your device and plays with no connection at all. Install the site from your browser menu to launch it like an app.
